We are looking for a Talent Coordinator to work with our People & Culture Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Passion, Courage, and Teamwork.
Position Responsibilities: As the Talent Coordinator, reporting to the Manager, Talent, and Organizational Development, you will be responsible to support the recruitment and onboarding processes at Headwaters Health Care Centre. The Talent Coordinator will support the ongoing activities within the talent management team by partnering with the Talent Acquisition Specialists to provide effective administrative support preparing and posting job descriptions, compiling candidate lists for applicant tracking, creating, populating, and maintaining reports and facilitating the internal and external recruitment and selection processes. The successful candidate will provide effective administrative support with initial responsibilities including, but not limited to preparing and posting job requisitions; completing candidates’ lists; advising managers on internal selection processes; processing change notices and benefits packages as applicable. This position will also respond to recruitment-related inquiries received by phone or through email inboxes that the TAC monitors. This role will work closely with the People & Culture Coordinators to ensure smooth transitions for existing employees. - Schedule interviews, book interview rooms, and conduct testing
- Conduct telephone screens
- Manage reference process with the third party provider
- Create/update interview guides and prepare interview packages
- Assist with maintaining the electronic files for Recruitment
- Assist in developing and delivering recruitment initiatives including but not limited to job fairs, student recruitment initiatives, etc.
- Run seniority reports to assist with internal transfers
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients and candidates
- Provide administrative support to the department as required
- Creating and maintaining reports
- Assist with Hospital General Orientation as needed
- Build and maintaining positive, trusting relationships cross-functionally within the organization

- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Successful completion of a two-year post-secondary program required (community college diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum of three (3) year of related experience in an Administrative and/or Human Resources or a related field
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and communicate effectively and be courteous at all times.
- Highly resourceful, solution-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer and administrative skills including report writing and proficiency in with MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact, and teamwork
- Flexibility and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with solid planning skills and use of good judgment
- Ability to prioritize time, work, and projects efficiently, working well under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Experience and oversight of digital marketing strategy and tactics as they relate to recruitment
- Available to work occasional evenings or weekends at special events and meetings
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, 8:00am-4:00pm
Hiring Salary Range: Compensation is commensurate
with experience - Entitled to HOOPP Pension
