We are looking for a Registration Clerk to work with our Welcome Centre Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork. Position Responsibilities: The Registration/Booking Clerk is accountable and responsible for the general and specialized duties required to support the daily activities of patient registrations and bookings. Registers patients by accurately entering patient information. Maintains patient database and ensures data integrity by correcting errors. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Medical terminology certificate or equivalent required Diploma in Office Administration – Health Services/Medical Office Admin (preferred) Recent experience with patient registrations and Diagnostic Imaging bookings required Meditech admissions as well as staffing and scheduling experience required. Experience using Community-wide scheduling, Windows NT Workstation, MS Word/Outlook/Excel Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills dealing with both internal and external clients Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other allied health professionals in a very dynamic work environment Ability to multi-task and work with a minimum of supervision.
