We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to work with our Speech Language Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.
Position Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Speech Language Pathologist within the Speech Language Department.
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) assesses, and treats the full range of communication and swallowing disorders, provides expertise in the treatment and prevention of speech and language, and feeding/swallowing dysfunctions or disorders to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment oral motor or communicative functions. SLP plays an integral role in completing swallowing assessments through both an in-patient and out-patient setting within our Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Qualifications:- Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Completion of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Recent inpatient experience in a hospital setting
- Experience with swallowing assessments is preferred
Hiring Salary Range: $44.67 - $57.90
