We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work with our Obstetrics & Peadiatrics Departments to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork. Position Responsibilities: The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Registered Nurse within the Obstetrics & Peadiatrics Departments The Registered Nurse is accountable and responsible for providing care to a wide range of patient population including children, infants, neonates, and new mothers between Obstetrics and the Paediatric department. Within this role, the Registered Nurse is assigned to either unit on a daily basis dependent upon organizational needs to meet quality of care and safety of patients. The Registered Nurse practices according to the standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario, and approved standards of care of the Corporation. Qualifications: Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario BScN preferred, minimum completion of Diploma in Nursing Minimum of 1 year recent paediatric experience preferred Recent experience in obstetrics including labour and delivery, post partum care, and or nursery preferred Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification required or enrolled into the course Fetal Health Surveillance completed within last 2 years required or enrolled into the course PEARS (Paediatric Emergency Assessment and Stabilization or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required or enrolled into the course Current BCLS certificate required Breastfeeding course required Current STABLE certification (preferred) Maternal Newborn Nursing Certificate complete or in progress preferred Acceptable performance and attendance records (applies to internal applicants only) Hiring Salary Range: $40.24 - $57.68 There are currently four (4) available postings We are currently hiring for an existing vacancy.
